Centrica and X-energy advance UK Nuclear plans with Xe-100 reactor Design Review

Centrica and X-Energy announced that UK regulators accepted X-energy’s Xe-100 advanced Modular reactor into the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process, which is expected to last around 3 years. The partnership aims to deploy up to 6 GW of new nuclear capacity in the UK (10 to 20 Xe-100 power stations) with the first project planned for Hartlepool. Source: Press Release

Nordex secures 91 MW wind turbine order in Brandenburg, Germany

Nordex announced a 91 MW order from TEUT Energieprojekte GmbH to supply and install 13 of its N163/6.X wind turbines for the Schönermark-Passow wind farm in Brandenburg, Germany. The contract also includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement, marking the tenth project between Nordex and TEUT for a total joint capacity to 252 MW.
