EUR/USD (1.1560) Friday’s weak US payrolls reduced risk of near-term FED hike with focus now on US CPI releases this Wednesday fol- lowed by US PPI this Thursday. Oil slightly higher with no big news from SoH over the weekend and USD slightly stronger vs close last Friday. EUR/USD short term support at 1.1500 followed by 1.1480. Short term re sistance at 1.1581 which was high last Friday followed by 200 DMA which lies at 1.1630.

USD/CHF (0.8072) Swiss producer & import prices for July will be released this Thursday. EUR/CHF trading around 0.9350 with resistance at 0.9372 and short term support at 0.9330. USD/CHF support at 0.8062 where 50 DMA comes in, resistance at 0.8136 which was high last week followed by important 0.8200 zone. We still like using CHF as the funder currency for carry trades.

GBP/USD (1.3495) British GDP will be released this Thursday with expectations of +0.4% QoQ and +1.1% YoY. EUR/GBP trading close to short term support at 0.8560 and any break would call for August 2026 low at 0.8544. Resistance at 0.8580. GBP/USD short term resistance at 1.3509 followed by daily at 1.3550. Support at 1.3434 which was low last Friday followed by daily at 1.3400. We keep neutral on sterling today.

USD/JPY (158.48) USD/JPY recovered above 158 after low last Friday post NFP at 156.68. Japan trade balance for June released this morning came much lower than expected. Japan PPI will be released this Thursday. BOJ minutes from last meeting points to further rate hikes as inflation nears 2%. Short term resistance at 158.60 which was highest level until now after last currency interventions. We keep topside bias in JPY from here waiting on addition al official actions in coming days.

AUD/USD (0.7070) RBA meeting tomorrow with markets expecting a hold at 4.35%. Short term resistance AUD/USD today at 0.7078 which was high last Friday, followed by daily in 0.7080-90 zone. Short term support at 0.7053 which is session low followed by daily at 0.7023. We keep topside bias in AUD/USD.

USD/CAD (1.3943) CAD stronger after employment figures for July released last Friday where unemployment rate moved down 0.1% to 6.4% and net change in employment was much stronger than expected. Short term support at 1.3926 which was low last Friday followed by 100 DMA at 1.3916. Resistance short term at 1.3991. Neutral for today.
